RESCUE Flood Relief Efforts

In July 2010, heavy monsoon rains caused massive flooding in Pakistan, killing many people and challenging relief efforts in remote areas stranded by washed out roads and bridges. Reports estimate that nearly 14 million people have been affected by the disaster - more than the combined total of the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami, the 2005 Kashmir earthquake and the 2010 Haiti earthquake, according to the United Nations.

RESCUE was at ground zero to help out in the reconstruction.

Six months later media and humanitarian attention to the devastating Pakistan floods is dwindling, but RESCUE is still doing its bit to construct as many homes it can.

Please continue to help.
